5ct Holley Blue Agate ring set in 925 sterling silver

Beautifully crafted 925 sterling silver ring with a cabochon of Holley Blue Agate at the center.  
The center stone is overall pale lavender with two streaks of purple running down the length of the stone. The stone measures 12x9mm and weighs 5cts. 
Holley Blue is usually lavender gray in color (despite the name) and was mined in Holley Oregon near the little town of Sweethome in Linn County. However, the owners of the property closed it to general access in the mid 1990's due to many people abusing the privilege by bringing in heavy equipment to dig large areas and take truckloads of the material. 
Although some material can still be found along the Calapooia river, it is rare and getting harder to find every day.  
Some value Holley Blue for its metaphysical properties of being a calming stone that helps with soothing agitation. It's a wonderful stone to use for relaxation, grounding, and centering. It can help open and activate the crown, third eye, and heart chakras, providing various benefits. When combined with other crystals, the blue holly agate can unlock even more healing properties.
