This very nice Oregon Sunstone will be sure to start conversations when you wear it.

Oregon sunstone is the state gemstone of Oregon, and it’s easy to see why. The way it shimmers and glows with a natural irradescence is mesmerizing. No wonder these stones were traded hundreds of years ago by Native Americans who first discovered them.

Classified as a cuprian laboradite feldspar, these copper bearing sunstones are the only ones of their kind, and only found in one small area of Eastern Oregon.

I personally mined this stone from the Dust Devil Mine outside of Plush Oregon in 2020.

Weight is 2.1ct and would make a beautiful pendant.
