This absolutely beautiful stone was mined by me at the Dust Devil Mine in Eastern Oregon. It shines with multiple colors including peach and green.
Oregon Sunstone is a laboradite feldspar which developed over 13 million years ago in a volcano. They are very rare, only found in a small area of Eastern Oregon.
The are the official state gemstone of Oregon.
Though the color is pale, it would a beautiful pendant or ring. Schiller is present but very transparent. 3.34 ct
