Take a look at this gorgeous, shillered Oregon Sunstone pendant. The stone had an internal fracture, which causes light to refract and gives it this very cool rainbow effect. While I wouldn’t want to facet a stone like this, making a cabochon, or in this case, a pendant, is always an option. I used a flat lap and diamond wheel to shape the stone and polish it. Dremel, with a diamond bit and special hose attachment for water that I rigged up, works to make the hole.
