Bicolor cushion Oregon Sunstone 8.83ct
This is one of those Oregon Sunstones you only see once in a while. Its depth of color is absolutely breathtaking. The dark green accented with coppery red schiller is mesmerizing.
Oregon Sunstone is rare in the world of feldspar in that it contains copper. Most stones will only show a little hint of this copper when they display a little aventurescence, that inner glow seen as it flashes in the sunlight. About 10% of these stones will display any color at all, usually a pinkish peach color. Then there's the 1%rs. Stones like the one you're seeing here that are so rare they must be used to create a custom-made masterpiece.
This particular stone is 8.83ct and measures 14.4x11mm. It would make a very impressive cocktail ring or pendant.

This is a breathtakingly blue untreated Madagascar sapphire. The color is just spectacular. With a little bit of silk, a little bit of color zoning but overall a majestic royal blue that just shouts, "Look at me!"
Madagascar sapphires are renowned for their color. This one came from a stone that had just a hint of yellow mixed with this amazing blue. The results are stunning, and as an unheated stone, this color is as close to the perfect sapphire blue you're going to get.
This is the perfect stone for a ring or pendant and is large enough to be a center stone or could work being set with other stones as an accent.
The weight is .75ct, and it measures 6mmx5mm. Cut in a nice juicy pear shape.

Did you know Oregon Sunstone was once mined by Tiffany and Co. and marketed as "Plush Diamonds"? They bought a mine in Eastern Oregon, near the small town of Plush, and had wanted to market Oregon Sunstone as Plush Diamonds. However, it did not work for them logistically, and they eventually sold the mine in the 1940's.
These elegant crystals are all clear to champagne golden in color. They will go with any outfit at all.
Total ctw is about .75/pair. Each stone is 4mm round.

This means it seems to have a glow, similar to moonstone or the laboradite stone many are familiar with. Unlike those stones, however, this gemstone is suitable for faceting, so it comes out beautifully in jewelry.
