Tiny Swat Valley Pakistan emerald, 0.27ct

Here’s a very pretty little brilliant green emerald from Swat Valley Pakistan.
The color is incredible, and though it’s small, still stand out on l in the right piece.
Maybe you’ll use it in a dainty ring, or perhaps as a septum ring or other body jewelry. It would also go well paired with other gems for contrast such as an Amythist or morganite. Maybe you’ll set it in 18k yellow gold, or white gold or platinum.
This stone measures 4.6×3.2mm and weighs .27ct.
Swat emerald is very affordable compared to other precious stones. The price of this one is only $120. If you’ve never worked with emerald before because of the high price tag on Columbian emeralds, now you can.

There is an internal fracture more easily seen from the bottom of the stone than the top. I've reduced the price because of this but I'm my opinion it's still a very pretty stone that would look great in a pendant.

Emeralds have been called the gem of kings and are 20 times rarer than diamonds. The top world-class stones can go for as much as $100,000 pet ct. Queen Cleopatra of Egypt was quite fond of them, famously giving Marc Antony half of one of the most famous emeralds, which was lost when he went to battle the Romans. the other half became the cursed Cleopatra emerald, which was found in her tomb.
This lustrous beautiful green/blue emerald is the perfect color. It goes great with any metal, but especially a nice rich 18k gold would be phenomenal with it. The origin is Pakistans Swat Valley, where emeralds have been mined for over 2000 years.
The weight of this emerald is 1.88ct, and it measures 8.1x6.5mm.
Pink/purple diaspore 2.86ct
$858.00
Do you like rare gemstones?
Have you heard of Pink Diaspore?
This lavender to pink diaspore was first discovered in the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan in 2019 and started making its way to dealers in Peshawar Pakistan in 2020. Since we were in the middle of a worldwide pandemic at the time, this stone did not garner much attention, however one of my brokers in Pakistan got me some rough and I found it to be very interesting.
There are small tubular inclusions in the stone, which can be seen under magnification. These add some great light refraction. The color goes from almost a hot pink at some angles to a soft lavender color. The hardness is 6.5-7 and can be worn as a pendant, brooch, or with care as a ring.
This stone weighs 2.86ct and measures 9.6x5.9mm. Priced at a reasonable $300/ct, the total price for this stone is $858. Most dealers are now charging over $400/ct for this material.
