Unmistakable in color, this dark green natural emerald from Swat Valley Pakistan has everything you could want. Minimal oil treatment and beautiful “jardin” this stone would look amazing in a ring or pendant.
Swat emerald has been mined for over 2000 years, with stones identified as from this area found in Roman archeological digs in France. It is widely considered to be some of the finest color emerald available.
This particular stone is 1.40ct and measures 7.5×5.8mm.

Incredible 5.6ct pink/purple diaspore

While most are familiar with Turkish diaspore, the green/brown variety of the gemstone sold under the trade name "Zultanite" few are aware of this new variety found in Afghanistan.

Rare Pink Diaspore from Afghanistan. 2.17ct
Lovely and surprising pink diaspore from Afghanistan.
This relatively new gemstone is physically the same material as the Turkish diaspore, trade named Zultanite but look at this color! In low light it's a mauve or purple, but in bright sunlight is bright pink. This deposit was discovered in 2020 and appears to be very limited. Totally untreated with beautiful tube inclusions throughout.
This particular stone is beautifully cut and weighs 2.17ct and measures 10.6x5.6mm. This stone would be ideal in a ring or a pendant.
