This Oregon Sunstone exhibits the typical color zoning found on many colored Oregon Sunstones. The color is a brilliant raspberry red mixed with the common champagne color of most of these stones. There is some light copper schiller seen from some angles.
As with all Oregon Sunstones, this stone is 100% natural and untreated, with no oils or enhancers of any kind.
It’s a very good-sized gemstone and would go great in a pendant.
Weight is 3.2ct and measures 13×7.7mm.

Oregon Sunstone is rare in the world of feldspar in that it contains copper. Most stones will only show a little hint of this copper when they display a little aventurescence, that inner glow seen as it flashes in the sunlight.
