AAA Bicolor 7x5mm .9ct Oregon Sunstone
This Oregon Sunstone may be small at only .9ct and 7x5mm, but just look at this color!
Beautiful AAA Red with a hint of dark green. The rough for this stone comes from the world famous Dust Devil mine in the Rabbit basin of Oregon's rugged Outback.
There is an internal fracture you can see in the photos. It should not compromise the integrity of the stone, but I've discounted it significantly because of this. It's practically impossible to see this fracture without magnification.
This stone would be great for a dainty ring or as part of a larger piece for a little color pop.
Bi-color Oregon Sunstone dark peach and green 9.8ct

9.8ct of spectacular bi-color Oregon Sunstone with maroon and deep green, and amazing constellation schiller. The color and the "schiller," which is the word for those flecks of copper you see throughout this stone, are just incredible. This stone is a one-of-a-kind and deserves to be in a high-end jewelry piece. If you have clients who love the unusual, they'll love this gemstone.
Oregon Sunstone is the official state gemstone of Oregon and only found in one very rugged and secluded area of Eastern Oregon. Its rarity is because this is the only area in the world to find a naturally occurring copper bearing feldspar material.
Bicolor concave cut 3.85ct Oregon Sunstone
This stone originated at the Sunstone Butte mine.
This higher elevation mine (about 15 miles from the Sunstone Collection area) has an abundance of darker colored greens and bicolor Oregon Sunstones.
This one is cut in a rectangle with concave cuts on the sides to give it extra refraction. Photos just don't do this stone justice.
The stone weighs 3.85ct and measures 7.8x12mm.
Golden schiller 1.9ct Oregon Sunstone trillion
People sometimes scoff at the idea of a champagne colored Oregon Sunstone. They're much more common than the pinks, reds, or greens, but sometimes they can be just as beautiful.
The fact that they're more common also means a very affordable price.
This 1.9ct Oregon Sunstone trillion is champagne in color with a little bit of copper schiller to add some extra sparkle. In the sun, you'll see shades of pink and green in it as well as that golden champagne color.
The size is perfect for a ring or a pendant at 8.3mm.
Huge 22.91ct tri-color Oregon Sunstone
Oregon Sunstone, the always natural and untreated state gem is a rare feldspar containing copper, which gives it not only a wide range of colors, but also the aventurescent quality called "schiller" from thousands of microscopic bits of copper inside the stone.
Usually, these crystals get only as large as 60-70cts before being cut. Often, bigger crystals have fractures, which makes cutting large stones over 10cts difficult.
This stone, however, is not the norm. It weighs a massive 22.9ct and measures 23x17mm. It's the largest stone in my inventory. Just being large isn't the only thing that makes this stone special, though. The tri-color green, pink, and gold or "mystique" color is one of the rarest for Oregon Sunstone. Watch the colors shift and move as the stone turns.
The concave cutting on this gem also ads to the brilliance, giving it a radient shine. It is truly a one of a kind masterpiece.
Unique “Fanta Orange” Oregon Sunstone 3.5ct
Oregon Sunstone comes in many colors, but I most admit, this is a first for me. I thought the color was going to be more Orangeish red like a lot of stones are, but this one had so much gold color in it and no green. It came out this amazing Fanta orange. It's just bursting with color.
It's a great size for a ring or pendant. At 10mm and 3.5ct, it will always get noticed. Get used to people asking, "What kind of stone is that?".
