AAA red Oregon Sunstone cushion. 2.54ct
$381.00
Do you like Red Oregon Sunstones?
This is a nice juicy one. There's a hint of sparkling copper schiller inside, but overall, it's a very clear stone. There's a darker red patch at the center that looks almost like a heart. The perfect gift for your sweetheart.
Oregon Sunstone, the official state gem, is very rare, only found in one remote part of the state and nowhere else in the world.
It's also highly sought after by jewelry professionals who love the distinct look of this unique stone.
This particular stone measures 9.4x8.5mm and weighs 2.54ct. It's big enough to be the focal point of a nice custom ring or pendant.
Keep in mind that if you're going to make this a ring, it shouldn't be intended as a daily wear ring. It's soft enough on mohs' hardness scale (6.5-7) that it can scratch easily and can be prone to chipping. That being said, if it's in a protective setting, that will help greatly.
Bi-color Oregon Sunstone dark peach and green 9.8ct
$2,205.00
This stone would make the most incredible statement ring or pendant.
9.8ct of spectacular bi-color Oregon Sunstone with maroon and deep green, and amazing constellation schiller. The color and the "schiller," which is the word for those flecks of copper you see throughout this stone, are just incredible. This stone is a one-of-a-kind and deserves to be in a high-end jewelry piece. If you have clients who love the unusual, they'll love this gemstone.
Oregon Sunstone is the official state gemstone of Oregon and only found in one very rugged and secluded area of Eastern Oregon. Its rarity is because this is the only area in the world to find a naturally occurring copper bearing feldspar material.
Huge 22.91ct tri-color Oregon Sunstone
$3,435.00
Oregon Sunstone, the always natural and untreated state gem is a rare feldspar containing copper, which gives it not only a wide range of colors, but also the aventurescent quality called "schiller" from thousands of microscopic bits of copper inside the stone.
Usually, these crystals get only as large as 60-70cts before being cut. Often, bigger crystals have fractures, which makes cutting large stones over 10cts difficult.
This stone, however, is not the norm. It weighs a massive 22.9ct and measures 23x17mm. It's the largest stone in my inventory. Just being large isn't the only thing that makes this stone special, though. The tri-color green, pink, and gold or "mystique" color is one of the rarest for Oregon Sunstone. Watch the colors shift and move as the stone turns.
The concave cutting on this gem also ads to the brilliance, giving it a radient shine. It is truly a one of a kind masterpiece.
Incredible 6.46ct AAA red Oregon Sunstone marquise

Portuguese cut bi-color 6.7ct Oregon Sunstone
$1,695.00
OMG! This Oregon Sunstone is an absolute showstopper. I am tempted to set it into a piece, but I'd rather see it go into someone's own custom jewelry creation.
Each Oregon Sunstone is unique, and this one is a unicorn for sure. Weighing 6.7ct, it measures 11.5mm around and 9.7mm deep. When I saw this rough, I knew it had to be a deep cut, and this Portuguese with 161 facets really does it justice. Look at the brilliance here. In natural light or artificial, the green and coppery pink bi-color nature of this all natural stone really shines through.
Imagine a custom ring or pendant with this, set in yellow gold, rose gold, white gold, or platinum. This will always get people talking.
This is the rarest color Oregon Sunstone there is, and it can be yours at miner direct pricing for far less than the typical retail price.
