4.27ct Champagne Oregon Sunstone with slight schiller

Do you like Red Oregon Sunstones? This is a nice juicy one. There's a hint of sparkling copper schiller inside, but overall, it's a very clear stone. There's a darker red patch at the center that looks almost like a heart. The perfect gift for your sweetheart. Oregon Sunstone, the official state gem, is very rare, only found in one remote part of the state and nowhere else in the world. It's also highly sought after by jewelry professionals who love the distinct look of this unique stone. This particular stone measures 9.4x8.5mm and weighs 2.54ct. This stone originated at the Sunstone Butte mine. This higher elevation mine (about 15 miles from the Sunstone Collection area) has an abundance of darker colored greens and bicolor Oregon Sunstones. This one is cut in a rectangle with concave cuts on the sides to give it extra refraction. Photos just don't do this stone justice. The stone weighs 3.85ct and measures 7.8x12mm.

I thought the color was going to be more Orangeish red like a lot of stones are, but this one had so much gold color in it and no green. It came out this amazing Fanta orange.
