This stone has golden overtones with hints of green. It measures 15.3×15.3 and is 12.5mm deep. This would make an amazing pendant.
Oregon Sunstone, the state’s official gemstone, comes in colors ranging from warm pinks and brilliant red or reddish orange to deep green and teal, but champagne is the most common color found. The colors come from microscopic copper platelets within the stone. Sometimes, they appear as bright coppery “schiller,” and other times, they appear as colors in the stone. Many stones will have both.
Typically, Oregon Sunstone crystals are not big enough to produce a stone of this size. Many crystals found are 5-20ct. A stone of 50-60cts is rare.

2.75ct Peach Oregon Sunstone with schiller
Who doesn't love Oregon Sunstone with copper schiller? This stone is absolutely loaded with streaks of coppery goodness.
If you look at the close-up photos, you can see that the color comes from thousands of microscopic bits of copper that form parallel lines inside the stone. Sometimes, the stone is cut in such a way that the streaks are turned into an amazing constellation pattern.

The stone is cut into a nice marquise shape with excellent symmetry.
Bicolor concave cut 3.85ct Oregon Sunstone
This stone originated at the Sunstone Butte mine.
This higher elevation mine (about 15 miles from the Sunstone Collection area) has an abundance of darker colored greens and bicolor Oregon Sunstones.
This one is cut in a rectangle with concave cuts on the sides to give it extra refraction. Photos just don't do this stone justice.
The stone weighs 3.85ct and measures 7.8x12mm.
Bicolor cushion Oregon Sunstone 8.83ct
This is one of those Oregon Sunstones you only see once in a while. Its depth of color is absolutely breathtaking. The dark green accented with coppery red schiller is mesmerizing.
Oregon Sunstone is rare in the world of feldspar in that it contains copper. Most stones will only show a little hint of this copper when they display a little aventurescence, that inner glow seen as it flashes in the sunlight. About 10% of these stones will display any color at all, usually a pinkish peach color. Then there's the 1%rs. Stones like the one you're seeing here that are so rare they must be used to create a custom-made masterpiece.
This particular stone is 8.83ct and measures 14.4x11mm. It would make a very impressive cocktail ring or pendant.
Green/peach tri-color 4.9ct Oregon Sunstone
Here's a very nice green/pink/gold tri-color Oregon Sunstone dug from the world famous Dust Devil Mine near Plush.
These colors are just amazing, and as good as the photos look, the stone is even better when you hold it in your hand.
In addition to the gorgeous color of this stone, the cut is exquisite. The concave cuts in the stones pavilion give it an added dimension of sparkle.

Incredible dichroic green/pink 11.6ct Oregon Sunstone
Green Oregon Sunstone are the rarest there are. Get one that has colors like these and size? That's a unicorn, for sure.
While Oregon Sunstone comes in many colors, about 90% of them are champagne or clear. Another 5-7% are peach shiller, while 2% are red and 1% might be green to some degree. To find a stone this color and size is difficult at best.
This bicolor green/gold Oregon Sunstone has that peachy copper "schiller" effect while remaining very clear. It's a balancing act this stone pulls off so well.

Stone weight is a massive 11.6ct and measures 19x14.5mm with a depth of 8mm. Breathtakingly cut into a wide pear shape that shows off the deep green color of this stone.
Stone is "eye clean" with a small flaw you can see under magnification at the shoulder on the face of the stone. It's not Something you'd see with the naked eye, but I did want to disclose this.
Unique “Fanta Orange” Oregon Sunstone 3.5ct
Oregon Sunstone comes in many colors, but I most admit, this is a first for me. I thought the color was going to be more Orangeish red like a lot of stones are, but this one had so much gold color in it and no green. It came out this amazing Fanta orange. It's just bursting with color.
