1.5ct Classic peach schiller Oregon Sunstone

Who doesn't love Oregon Sunstone with copper schiller? This stone is absolutely loaded with streaks of coppery goodness. If you look at the close-up photos, you can see that the color comes from thousands of microscopic bits of copper that form parallel lines inside the stone. Sometimes, the stone is cut in such a way that the streaks are turned into an amazing constellation pattern. The "scissor"cut of this stone also helps with the light refraction, making it perfect for a ring or a pendant. This stone weighs 2.75ct and measures 11x7.5mm.

This is one of those Oregon Sunstones you only see once in a while. Its depth of color is absolutely breathtaking. The dark green accented with coppery red schiller is mesmerizing. Oregon Sunstone is rare in the world of feldspar in that it contains copper. Most stones will only show a little hint of this copper when they display a little aventurescence, that inner glow seen as it flashes in the sunlight.
